It was a great honor meeting the FAO – Tanzania Country Director and discussed a lot about aquaculture collaboration between our organisations and the Government through TCP.
There is optimism in the country’s aquaculture future and new thinking on how to support the growth. Tanzania is increasingly recognizing the importance of developing sustainable aquaculture for nutrition, economy and industrial development. It is time that we take the lead and create necessary conditions and enabling environments for aquaculture players in the country.
